Collectively, our group of psychologists represents more than 100 years of experience in the practice and formal instruction in clinical or counseling psychology. Individually, we are highly experienced professionals, proficient in the techniques of psychological services, and recognized for accomplishments and contributions by our clients and the professionals we serve.

 
Larry M. Raskin, Ph.D., N.B.C.D.C.H.
Dr. Raskin's practice of clinical psychology serves clients of all ages. Prior to coming to Louisville, Dr. Raskin was an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Human Development at Purdue University. He was Chief Psychologist and Associate Professor/Professor of Medical Psychology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine's Child Evaluation Center from 1973 to 1981. Dr. Raskin was also a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Kentucky for seven years. His Ph.D. in Psychology was earned at McGill University, Montreal, Canada in 1966, and he completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Minnesota and the University of North Carolina. He is a certified diplomate in clinical hypnotherapy.
  

Anna Bergman, Ph.D.
Dr. Bergman received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Louisville. She was a Clinical Psychologist for Seven Counties Services and a Psychological Consultant to the Catholic Charities agencies. Dr. Bergman also trained at the Child Evaluation Center at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and the VA Medical Center. She has over 25 years of experience in evaluating and counseling clients of all ages. Dr. Bergman is trained in E.M.D.R.
  

W. Kent Hicks, Ed.D., N.B.C.C.H.
Dr. Hicks is a neurobehavioral family specialists who has many years of experience in geropsychology, neuropsychology and family therapy. He earned his doctorate at the University of Kentucky, and was Executive Director of the Family Relations Center before entering private practice in 1990. Dr. Hicks provides services to adolescents and adults as well as couples and families. He is a certified clinical hypnotherapist.
  

Carol B. Peterson, Ed.D., N.B.C.C.H.
Dr. Peterson completed her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Louisville. She provides evaluation and counseling services to clients of all ages. Dr. Peterson has worked with the chronically mentally ill through Seven Counties Services and at the Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. She has extensive experience with the elderly, as well as children, adolescents, adults and college-bound students. Dr. Peterson is a certified clinical hypnotherapist.
  

Robert S. Watson, Ph.D.
Dr. Watson earned his Psy.D in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University. He has extensive experience in crisis assessment and intervention, grief counseling and relationship counseling. Dr. Watson provides evaluation and treatment services for late childhood and adolescent behavioral problems, and is skilled in providing counseling services to clients of all ages. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including Seven Counties Services, United Health Care, and CMG Health before joining this practice.
  



  

HOURS:
The office is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and later by special appointment. After 4:30 p.m., please leave your message on the answering system.
